June 12, 2022 Dear Ready’s, Today would have been Dad’s (Joseph Leonard Arthur Roberge) 108th birthday!! So it is the perfect day to send you this personal note of thanks for your guidance and direction in providing Dad with the best send-off to Heaven. Fourteen years ago we contacted Ready Funeral Services. You stepped right up and gently led Dad and the ‘children’ through the process of what needed to be done. What a wonderful experience it was. Jeff was compassionate, patient and kind. Fourteen years later, it is time to send Dad up to Mom and Jesus. This time, you were the one stepping up to gently, compassionately and kindly guide us in saying goodbye to our last parent. A different feeling this time. So final – at least on this side of Heaven. Although you take many phone calls each day and begin the process with yet another family – you made me feel that I was your only client with whom you were walking. Your kindness and gentle patience and willingness to help with every detail made all the difference. You were always available to me by phone or email and I never had to wait long for a response, again, despite the fact that you were helping so many other families at the same time. As funeral directors, your role in helping families say goodbye is so crucial. You get one chance to get it right. And if you do, you often get a second chance and perhaps more chances as time goes on. The reason we returned to Ready was because we had such a positive and loving experience the first time. When the second opportunity arose, there was not a doubt in my mind as to whom I should call. So, I want to again offer heartfelt thanks for getting us through this. Ready Funeral Services will always be part of this journey in the best possible way. Continue to spread your joy and light in the community – the work you do is priceless. The death of a loved one is such a sad, traumatic time in a person's life, it is so important that someone with experience guide you and your family through all that needs to be done.
